Our Story
Our story began unexpectedly at a bar in Wisconsin when Sophia was home from college. After a little flirting, Sophia skipped the small talk and decided to introduce herself. Sophia initially turned down his invite to the next bar and ignored a few of his texts, but eventually agreed to a date when she came home for Christmas break. One date quickly turned into many, and before long we were driving hours just to see each other.
When the world shut down in 2020, the unexpected time together gave us the chance to truly get to know each other and grow our relationship in a way we never could have planned. Over the next four years, we continued long distance, making countless road trips and weekend visits to spend time together. Through different seasons of life, our relationship deepened as we learned how to support one another and meet each other with patience and grace. We showed up and chose one another, again and again.
When Sophia was accepted to PA school, we both found our way to Nashville — living in the same city for the first time in our relationship. It was a new chapter for both of us, and the beginning of building a real life together. We started creating a community, putting down roots, and turning Nashville into home.
About a year later, we took a trip to Rosemary Beach, Florida. During a sunset walk along the water, Gabe popped the question. Sophia’s face in the photos says it all — pure joy (and maybe a little shock).
It felt only fitting to get married somewhere that reflects our shared love of adventure, travel, and new experiences. We can’t wait to celebrate our love and commitment surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. At the end of the day, nothing is more important to us than our people.

Have Questions?
We have all the answers
Can I bring a +1?
We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space we can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on your invitation.
Are kids welcome?
We love your little ones! Children are welcome to attend if their names were included on your invitation.
Will the wedding take place outside or inside?
Our celebration will be held outdoors at Ktima 48. Please plan for warm Mediterranean weather and comfortable footwear for outdoor space.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
No phones please! We have a photographer who will be capturing all of our special moments during that time. After the ceremony, you are welcome (and encouraged!) to use your phones during the cocktail hour and for the remainder of the night.
How’s the weather in September?
Daytime temperatures are typically in the upper 70s to mid-80s°F, with cooler evenings in the upper 60s to low 70s°F. Our celebration will be outdoors, so we recommend light, breathable attire and bringing a light wrap or jacket for later in the evening.
What do I need to travel to Greece?
Guests traveling to Greece will need a valid passport. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates and does not expire before March 2027. If you need a new passport or a renewal, we recommend applying as soon as possible, as processing can take several weeks.
What is the currency?
The currency in Greece is the Euro. Most restaurants, hotels, and shops accept credit cards, debit cards and Apple Pay. It is also a good idea to have some cash on hand for small purchases! ATM’s are widely available and currently exchange is available in airports or banks.
